A Little About Me

I discovered a love for technology in the last few years. I've owned and operated 6 business's over the last 25 years. Some were a success others a failure, but from these experiences I've learned that I want more than operating a business. It was in my last business that I learned of technology firsthand. I co-founded a technology company with three technologist, my part being operations. From seeing the process of developing a cloud software (SaaS) product I realised I want to have the ablitiy to produce IP myself.

What I've Learned

HTML

CSS
Cascading Style Sheets, is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language.

JQuery
jQuery is a cross-platform JavaScript library designed to simplify the client-side scripting of HTML.

Computer and Information Technology Occupations (*United States Dept. of Labor, Bureau of Statistics)

Employment of computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow 12 percent from 2014 to 2024, faster than the average for all occupations. These occupations are expected to add about 488,500 new jobs, from about 3.9 million jobs to about 4.4 million jobs from 2014 to 2024, in part due to a greater emphasis on cloud computing, the collection and storage of big data, more everyday items becoming connected to the Internet in what is commonly referred to as the “Internet of things,” and the continued demand for mobile computing.

The median annual wage for computer and information technology occupations was $81,430 in May 2015, which was higher than the median annual wage for all occupations of $36,200.
